3.18 PTU mesa-git 7900XT 4K

Test is QT from CRUL3 to HURL2 (not stations, just L zones). Test begins with simultaneous press for QT and ends once the QT cooldown is visible. Test is performed with a Vanguard Harbinger, stock QT drive, no mouse inputs for the duration, in first-person. Hardware is 7900XT, memory speed 3200MT/s, game setting very high, high, high, medium clouds, vsync off, chromatic off, motionblur off, fov 90. Support for RDNA3 GPUs is fairly new so the results are likely to change over time.

DXVK vs VKD3D; RX7900XT

Using the title screen's movie when there is no save file present. Game Settings: 3840x2160, Supersampling: 100%, Anti-aliasing quality: low, Shadow quality: high, DoF quality: high, LOD distance: far, Reflections: high, DX11; Software: DXVK-2.1, wine-lutris-GE-Proton7-37, Plasma 5.26.5 wayland, gamemode, no gamescope, memory speed: 3200MT/s. There was a significant amount of outliers so I would take this with a grain of salt, perhaps it should be tested with Plasma 5.27 which implements a setting to allow tearing. The frame time spikes may improve over time as this is still a fairly new GPU driver (RDNA3) but there is one specific scene where the framerate around 70 is consistent, perhaps due to extremely strong DoF being used, it only lasts for a couple seconds though. DXVK may be posting a higher average due to having more outliers of 200 and 300, but there are so many of such records that I'm not sure what to do with them. These numbers do not represent the number displayed on screen either.
